About Us: Supporting GTRI

Support GTRI and build a better world

GTRI is looking for partners who want to inspire, equip and energize the researchers and students who will discover tomorrow’s groundbreaking new technologies. Philanthropy helps bridge the gap between routine research-for-hire and breakthrough technologies that can change our world. Opportunities are also available to make investments in people and research in the U.S. and Ireland.

Venture Research Funds

Much of GTRI's technical expertise was developed serving the defense and homeland security markets. This important military work continues to grow. Today, there are significant opportunities to use the technical results of military research to find solutions to commercial challenges and pressing societal problems like water management, alternative energy and improving access to healthcare.

Early-stage funding allows researchers to push the envelope and explore new ideas. They can let their curiosity be their guide... and the results can be revolutionary. Transferring defense application expertise and knowledge to a new commercial use can transform entire industries.

However, taking the first step requires strategic investments of time and resources. We need contributions to create venture research funds to fund early stage research.

Learn how you can provide funding for a specific research area and play a role in the direction of GTRI's research.
